Forum feedback and suggestions
New site, new challenges. Here's the place to provide feedback, offer suggestions and ask for features.
Let's see what we can do!

Re: Forum feedback and suggestions
Is there a way to make the list of threads have taller rows? They are hard to scan currently as they are so close together. Its like a wall of text almost. Or have them alternate shading? (or both!)
Re: Forum feedback and suggestions
For the moron that I am, I tried to shrink the pic I want to use as my avatar in the gallery pic settings on my galaxy to fit the paramaters required, could the pixel count be relaxed for the profile pic, or someone who is not stupid like me let me know how I go about it?

Re: Forum feedback and suggestions
The forum is looking for any good but on mobile, it looks kind of cluttered and small. I don't know if there's anything that can be done about that but otherwise things look good.
Re: Forum feedback and suggestions
I’m glad there is an option to add images to posts, that’s way better.
Looks like signatures are only text at the moment, perhaps if it’s an option and not annoying to the forum we could have photo sigs but to prevent people from being ass clowns, put a size limit on it so we don’t have people adding a sig that takes up half a page. Being able to have gif sigs would also be cool.

Alrighty, I'll be going through these issues and a few more things soon-ish. As I said in the other thread, this is all still a work in progress and things will be added and tweaked as we go along.

Re: Forum feedback and suggestions
Just added Responsive Navbar, which can be turned off in the UCP for those that don't want that.
Edit: Removed. It wasn't very good.

Re: Forum feedback and suggestions
All themes now have a light and dark mode.
Re: Forum feedback and suggestions
- Thread title is appearing before each post, making the threads look very had
- post panel needs to be dark theme
- embedded tweets should be in dark theme too.

1/ You mean the "Re: Forum feedback and suggestions" bit. Not sure that can be changed.ham wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 6:41 am- Thread title is appearing before each post, making the threads look very had

2/ Also don't think that can be changed, although I'll take a look. I think it looks good as it is though.
3/ That's the default X look.

2/ As mentioned here.
3/ Not likely.
4/ It might be something that will only come when phpBB4 is released, which will hopefully be sometime this year.
5/ You can just report the post to get it deleted by an admin.

Try a different theme, some of them look more spaced out.Arkam wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 4:59 pmIs there a way to make the list of threads have taller rows? They are hard to scan currently as they are so close together. Its like a wall of text almost. Or have them alternate shading? (or both!)

Mobile isn't an easy one to alter. Again, phpBB4 might end up helping a lot with that.StephRiley wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 5:52 pmThe forum is looking for any good but on mobile, it looks kind of cluttered and small. For what it's worth, mobile looks fine for me on Chrome on Android. Phunky said it's not so great for him though.

1. It's making the threads lengthier and one which have a lot of words, are breaking bad on mobile.
2. Pretty sure there should be a dark theme for post panel
3. I think it should be configurable, DPAD life has them appearing in Dark Navy blue color.
Re: Forum feedback and suggestions
Can't seem to make browser to memorize new link. It think it's called "- Index page" instead of D-Pad.org

Although it's added extra text on some themes.

Click on the little front icon to jump to the last read post in a thread.
Isn't it fun to learn new things?

OK, I'll look into that as well. Maybe there's a way to get the titles cut down on mobile.
